Keego Harbor Clam Shell Base

The Keego Harbor base was designed to fit around an existing structural decorative base on a light pole that had met its economic life. Instead of replacing the entire pole and base, which were welded together, TerraCast created a base whose inner diameter is expansive enough to allow its clamshell design to engulf a large structural base while still maintaining its structural integrity. This gives the pole a fresh protective coat of armor. Of course, the base can be used as a standalone decorative base for any light pole. Like any of TerraCast’s bases, the Keego Harbor base is made from a high-grade resin material that is impervious to the sun and salt and knocks out Ultraviolet rays like a boxer due to the UV inhibitors that are cooked into the material. This material is color-thru, so if its surface should ever be compromised, marks are less conspicuous. Gone are the days of peeling, chipping, or needing to be painted. The base stands 43.25” tall, has a footprint of 25”, and will clamshell around light poles up to 6” in diameter. Available in various colors.
